MEET AK JONES
Adrienne Kaylee also known as AK founded Charakter Magazine in the fall of 2019. As a filmmaker and photographer at her own production company AK Media Solutions, she had a dream of creating a platform for Black Americans to have a safe space to tell their stories.

​Initially Charakter was created to highlight African
American women entrepreneurs in fashion and other areas of interest. Then when the global shut down brought light to the blatant injustices and discrimination that Black Americans were facing, AK decided to widen the spectrum of journalism.

Unfortunately, in the summer of 2020 AK suffered a life altering car accident that led to the postponement of her second print issue.
Today, AK reboots her magazine publications digitally with a story that analyzes a different perspective on one of the most influential heart's of mankind.
